Mary Ann Pifer

of Jackson, AR

December 9, 1946 - April 11, 2017

Mary Ann Pifer, age 70, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2017. She was born to the late V.B. and Charlsie Henderson on December 9, 1946 in Conway.

Mary Ann was a devoted and dedicated Christian lady, who taught many children in her years of teaching at the Christian Academy (Lighthouse), not only about basic education, but about the Lord. She also loved to teach her grandkids and great-grandkids Christian songs for children.
She is fondly remembered by her children as someone who loved to sew for them. Mary Ann loved to see her girls with curls, buns and bows and her sons with coordinating outfits. She was a very faithful member of Calvary Apostolic in Jacksonville, AR., where she loved to sing, pray and worship. She started a prayer line ministry on the internet where no matter how big or small the concern, she asked prayer for them all.

She is preceded in death by both her parents; her brother, Roy (Claudia) Henderson of Little Rock; her daughter, Lisa (John) Homan of Jacksonville.

She is survived by her sons, Dale (Amy) Fulmer of Sherwood and Victor (Geneva) Henderson of Ward; four daughters, Hollie (Adonte) Anderson of Sevierville, Tennessee, Linda (George) Droddy of Willis, Texas, Glenda Sanchez of Conroe, Texas and Marie Murphy of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, James (Kathy) Henderson of Jacksonville, Florida, Ralph (Wilma) Henderson of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Along with twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss! Always remember Sister Mary at the Apostolic Church in Jacksonville when my family and I would speak there.
