December 15, 1916 - January 17, 2017

Irving Judson ''Jud'' Prindle, age 100, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2017. He was born to the late, George D. and Olive L. Bartlett Prindle in Porterville, Texas on December 15, 1916.

Jud lived most of his life in California and was very active in the Gardenia Assembly of God Church, where he helped build a church and a church school and also held a position on the church building board. He took a job working for Chevron while living in California and a few years later was drafted into the United States Navy during WWII. After Jud's honorable discharge he continued his career with Chevron and retired in 1978 having worked 35 years with the company. Jud met his wife of 59 years, Ruth, while she was vacationing and visiting family in CA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Jud is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth Janette Prindle; his son, David (Rebecca) Prindle, of North Little Rock; two daughters, LaMerle Dillinger of Flippin, AR and Monica Williams of Flippin, AR; along with nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jud Prindle set a high bar for Christian faithfulness and commitment. Making coffee for the Sunday School class well into his 90's (a class of over 100 people), enjoying life and Christian fellowship, and always worshiping openly. He was a remarkable man in the ways that matter.

I am so sorry for the loss of uncle Judd 💗 I will always remember his spunky spirit and welcoming smile. I loved visiting him, Ruth, David, and Rebecca as a kid. Sending lots of loving wishes to the family and prayers of comfort during this season. Love you! - Courtney
