Sylvia Rosa Loveless

of North Little Rock, AR

January 26, 1917 - October 30, 2016

Sylvia Rosa Loveless, age 99, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on October 30, 2016. She was born to the late John and Rosa Novak in Glingany, Nebraska on January 26, 1917.

Sylvia was a good Christian lady who was a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Her faithful service to her church nursery has been recognized not only by the young souls she has served, but also by the nursery being named in honor of her. She enjoyed spending time at the Sherwood Senior Citizen's Center where she loved to play bingo every Wednesday with her daughter and son-in-law and attend their monthly potlucks. She will be remembered most by her positive outlook on life and the love she had for her family and all who knew her. Sylvia's greatest pride and joy were her two grandsons and her four great-grandchildren.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, Lester R. Loveless and her brother, Alois ''Sheik'' Novak.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Mae (Jesse) Baker of North Little Rock; her two grandsons, Steven (Stacy) Baker of Tumbling Shoals and Patrick (Robyn) Baker of Bryant; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Eleanor, and Vance Baker; and step-brother, Frank R. Vandenbrouck of Hazen.

I am sorry for your loss. I am sure she is watching over all of you today and every day. I am sure that Anne and Sylvia are having a good old time catching up. Prayers up for all her love ones in this difficult time.

For as long as I can remember coming to NLR, momma always had to see her best friend and I didn't know until I was older that momma and "Aunt Silvia" weren't sisters; however, she will always be family.
