Mrs Kittle...what a sweet lady who made our church life at 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church so special...like Teresa said a wonderful example of living a christian life...
I was so sad to learn about Mrs Kittle's passing. She was such a tremendous influence on many of us growing up at the RCCPC. She was the epitome of Southern lady--always beautifully dressed with the perfect hair, dress, and accessories; always a gracious hostess with a smile and invitation to come by; and always a Christian role model of a godly woman, teaching us by example. She, along with Terry Russell, Mary Virginia Johnson, Imogene Turner, and my Mother-- Jean Scott--formed the "lunch bunch" and kept their friendship of 40+ years going even after the church at RC closed. May warm memories of your Mother give you peace.
Kathy, I send my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I remember her as being a sweet and happy lady. May your special memories of her ease your sorrow and help you heal. I still have fond memories of our NLR youth, but I would not want to go back. Like my place in life now....retired and traveling.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I thank God for this wonderful woman. How blessed I was to know her growing up in Rose city CP Church. She was a special lady. Nancy
