If people are still reading this, I used to be Wendy's penpal back when I was a teenager, +/- 20 years ago. I was going over the names of old penpals and remembered hers, and had to google her. I was shocked to see that she passed away 3 years ago, as she always sounded very warm and friendly in her letters. May she rest in peace.
wendy was a very sweet friend she will be missed thank you crystal redd
To the family,
I'm so sorry for your loss she was an amazing woman. When I heard the news I was shocked. She was one of my patients at St Vincent rehab hospital in sherwood and we became the best of friends. She touched me and I will never forget her!
I still can't believe that we will lay you to rest today. My eyes are full of tears as I think about the last moments I spent with you. This doesn't seem real at all. You will truly be missed. You will forever be in the hearts of your family at Zumwalt. Rest in love Ms. Wendy. Your family loves you and misses you dearly.

I am sad that you lost a great person, she was a good friend of mine. She is now in a better place, and not in pain
anymore. I worked with her at Pathfinders, and she sure could draw pictures real well. I will miss her.

My beautiful daughter, I will miss you so much. You have always been in my heart and I was so happy when you found me almost 3 years ago. Our telephone calls were a joy to me every week. I just wish I were not as old so I could have driven out to see you. We probably would have been up all night giggling and exchanging events and, most of all, hugging each other. I am so grateful for your friends and the wonderful care staff has given you. I want everyone to know that. Our love is so special, I'll always hold it very tight. Your loving Mom
