What Brent Poff said during Paul's memorial service resonated with me: The family we are born into and the family we grow into. Thank you Paul, for growing into our Park Hill family. Thank you for sharing your family with us. I feel Park Hill is a better church because you were part of it. See you again, my friend.

I was fortunate to have reconnected with Paul a few years back. He was a gentle soul who loved his family and was so proud of them. We laughed and talked about old times at school and our neighborhood. So sorry to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed by many. Prayers of strength and healing for his family

I went to school with Paul everyone liked him. Upon hearing of his passing I saw him standing at my locker in his pink plaid shirt and brown trousers and his curl hair. He was a sweet friend that I got to talk to through classmates 5 years ago and we got to catch up. I'm glad I got the chance to connect with him again before he passed away. My sympathies go out to all of your family.

I will miss you Paul, as you were a dear friend, but know that you are with God now. You were truly a faithful servant of Jesus and am so happy that you are in heaven now with him! Your family are in my prayers, especially Pat Poff, who has a big responsibility on his shoulders. May your family have peace knowing that you are with God now and are no longer suffering.

Paul was my brother in Christ and will always be remembered. He was a true servant to his Lord, looking for ways to help others in need. The light within him would shine in such a way that others could see that he walked with the Lord. I am happy that he is free from all the suffering and pain and now sees the Lord face to face. As Paul would say, "what a day that will be". I salute you, Paul, and I know He is well pleased with your service.
