Randy and Brad and Family, Marr Jean and I were very close friends as freshmen at Ouachita. She took me home to White Hall one weekend, and I was so welcomed by her parents and sisters. I called her last year or the year before when I was visiting my daughter in LR. She said she was babysitting one of the grandchildren. We had a good visit, though, on the phone. I am shocked to read of her passing, because She didn't mention being sick. I guess it must have been sudden. She was one of the sweetest, dearest friends I ever had. I know that she is rejoicing to be with her parents, husband, and two children. However, that still doesn't keep you from missing her. I will be praying for the "God of all comfort" to get you through this sad time.
Randy,
We extend our deepest sympathies to you and all of your family at this time of sorrow and loss. It is especially sad when you lose your last parent and direct connection to their generation. May God bless you and provide comfort.
Dear Karen, So sorry to hear of your family's loss. You, Randy, Kristin and Caleb will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Cling to peace and comfort from the prayers of many that are given on your behalf.
Sending a hug from Indiana...
Randy and Karen sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry for the loss of your Mother. Will be thinking of you and remembering you and your family in my prayers.
Randy and Karen,
It is my prayer that you have strength in God during this time of grief. My hope is that you focus on your mom's life (not her death). Be assured that she is well pleased in the man and woman of God that you both are....I know she had a part in your success. May God give you and your family peace.
Shirley
