So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

Charlotte, I am sorry to hear of Harper's death and I know he will be missed by you and all those who were blessed to have know him. I have very fond memories when Joyce and I were your neighbors in Fayetteville so many decades ago and for the years following when we would get together occasionally. He was a wonderful person and friend - I will never forget him.

You will be in my prayers.

So sorry for your heartache of losing your dear loved one. We lived on Neely near the Oats back the the mid 80’s. My daughters were 9 & 7 then and simply adored Cynthia!

Lived next door to Harper all our lives until we were grown, my Dad worked for Harpers Dad all those years. Mr. Harper Oates sr. was a good man, always treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated. Harper jr was just like his Dad, kind hearted, and good. May God bless and comfort as only He can.
