Sue Meadows, 91, of Brookdale Pleasant Hills Retirement Community in Little Rock, formerly of Proctor, Arkansas died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.

Mrs. Meadows was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker with a gift and passion for decorating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam A. Meadows and a son John Meadows.

She is survived by a son Mark Meadows (Jane) of Little Rock.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Calvary Baptist Church or to the Charity of the donor's choice.

As neighbors of Sue at Pleasant Hills, my wife Virginia and I knew a kind, gentle lady who always had a smile and a few friendly words for us, when we saw her going to lunch at Pleasant Hills Retirement Center. She had our admiration for her tenacity in recovering from injuries. She will be missed here at Pleasant Hills.
