Libby and children, I am sorry to,hear of your loss. I never met your husband, but I heard you speak of Mike often. You two produced very attractive and intelligent offspring and in that vein, he will live on Through them. My prayer is for all of you to enjoy the memories you have of him, praise The Lord that he was in your midst if only for a little while. Memories will keep you all strong along with your dependency of our Lord and Saviour. I especially ask for strength for his family in the oncoming days. My message also is for Jesse. I always enjoyed him when he would come to M.S.D. Office. Our grand daughter, Amanda from Corpus Christi came up some years ago for ACT training in the summer. I appreciated that Jesse was kind to her that summer because she did not know very many people in Marion and I will pass along this news to her as she would want to know as well.
I had the pleasure of working with Michael at the Collierville Post Office. Michael was a special person who loved his family and God. I enjoyed talking to him many times about the love of his life, his wife and seeing the emotion he had for her. I am so sad to learn of his passing but I know how much he loved God and that although he will be missed on earth his spirit is now at peace. God bless you his family and God bless Michael.
Libby, I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. You are in my prayers; I know you are tired but rest in the fact that he is no longer in any pain! May God wrap His loving arms around your entire family!

So sorry to hear of the loss of Mike. My prayers are with his family during this very difficult time.
Mike was such a wonderful man and a terrific employee for the Collierville Post Office. He made my days at the post office enjoyable with his laughter and great sense of humor. I am saddened that he was taken from this earth so soon. May God wrap his loving arms around him and comfort his family at this time. He will always be remembered by those he has left behind.
Tommy and family I did not have a chance to ever know Mr. Burroughs but I am so sorry you have lost him. Please know that God is our Comforter and is Always there for us. So keep your heart and eyes upon Him for He is there. I will be lifting you up in my prayers even if I am not able to be there.

Had the pleasure of working with Mike at the Post Office for many years. He was as good a man as I have ever met. My prayers are with his family. God bless.
I met Mike 27 years ago on my first day with the Collierville Post Office and quickly he took me under his wing. Still many years after his retirement customers on his old route ask about him. What's ole Mike up to?? He never met a stranger. We are very sadden with his passing. I am so honored to have been his friend. So many stories, farm auctions shared. He loved his family and was so proud of them. God bless.
Our deepest sympathies for the passing of Mike. A dedicated father and long time friend , you will be greatly missed. Many fond memories of our times spent fishing and hunting with our friends. Mike , I'll see you in the deer woods again one day. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all. God Bless.
