In her youth she and her sister Sue were active members of the Girl Scouts, later becoming a devoted and much-loved Scout leader. Mrs. Bolton was active in ADK Teachers Sorority and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

I just heard about your mom's passing. Such fond memories about Mrs. Bolton in being a neighbor from around the block. Also, enjoyed her as my science teacher at East Jr. High. So very sorry for your loss, but know we'll be with her again one day in heaven. Praying for the family. Much Love in Christ, Mary Creasy-Eubanks
