He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Annie Shivers.
He is survived by 1 son, James Shivers (Janet) of Memphis, TN; 2 daughters, Deborah Dohmen (Donald) of Marion, AR, Dianna ''Dee'' Helton (Doug) of Marion, AR; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer McCarver, Jason and Joshua Shivers, Sara Guttierez, Christopher Dohmen, Caleb Helton; and 7 great-grandchildren.
