Johnnie Browder -Kouri, 65, of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee formerly of West Memphis, Arkansas died Monday, March 9, 2015 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee.
Mrs. Kouri was a Baptist and was a sales person for Pitney Bowes; she was the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Memphis and Marion VFW post 5225 and the Ladies Shriners Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Newsom and Betty Chipman Thomas, her first husband Jim Browder, a daughter Tammy Logue, two brothers, Jackie Joe Newsom and Greg Newsom.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Kouri of Pickwick Dam, TN; two daughters, Christy Browder-Graves of Marion, AR; Kim Kouri of Omaha, NE; a son Kyle Kouri of Tamapa, FL; a sister, Fran Daniels of West Memphis, AR; two brothers John Newsom Jr and Jeff Newsom both of Marion, AR; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the loss of your loved one.In the scriptures Job 14:14,15 and John 5:28, God promises that he will resurrect our loved ones in the near future .I hope that Jehovah , the God of comfort grant you peace.
God choose to take an amazing women home. I will miss my phone calls "My Michele" my birthday songs and your storys. Aunt johnnie I will miss you dearly and I love you to the heavens and back! I hope you are singing with the angels and running an laughing with nanny and everyone else. I love you and I will see you again

John, Jeff and family. I hate to hear of Johnnie's passing. Yes, she has gone to be with The Lord and some of the family at this time. But just think you will see her again. I know keeping your eyes and heart on the Lord will comfort you. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
