Bobby D. Phillips, 82, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Phillips was a retired truck driver for Central Transport and a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for 44 years at Fellowship Baptist Church in Marion, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldred and Opal Phillips and a brother, Orvan Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Ring Phillips of West Memphis, AR; two daughters, Teresa Carr (Eddie) and Gina Castellaw (John) of Memphis, TN; a son Gary Phillips (Rebecca) of Marion, AR; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Gina, I just saw where your dad passed away. I am so very sorry to hear it. Your dad was such a nice man and I remember that he smiled all the time. Please give your mom and family my sincere condolences and prayers.
