Lawrence Byard, 89, of West Memphis, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home in West Memphis.
Mr. Byard was a retired mechanic for John Deere.
He is survived by his wife, Zonia Everine Byard of West Memphis, AR; a daughter Sandra Byard Elliott (Johnny) of Marion, AR; two grandchildren Johnny Wayne Elliott Jr. and Jennifer Elliott Mauldin (Matt) and two great grandchildren Ruthie Elliott and John Elliott a sister, Sue Matthews of Walnut, MS; and many nieces and nephews and friends that loved him.

Sandy, This is a hard thing to try to think of something that would comfort you and the family.
So glad that we got to see him again last week. Lawrence was such a sweet neighbor, the twenty years we lived by them. We loved him and will miss him very much. Our prayers are with you all. Love Jeanie and Dale
