Uncle James was more than an uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He was our best friend, best Uncle, best dad! He had his ways of making us laugh even in the saddest of times. I know he would say" Remember me with laughter not with Tears"! for he always had us laughing. The goofiest of the goofy greats! as he would say" Elvis has left the building"! Until we meet again many hugs and kisses with lot of love! Cinkie AKA Cindy

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:28,29 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

I did not know James Jackson personally. However, he had been married for several years to a cousin Lenda Rascoe for several years. I know James loved gospel music. He was a faithful listener to my show "Down The Gospel Road." He called last Sunday and requested a song. He always wanted a song in honor of he and Lenda's anniversary and birthdays. I will miss James as a listener and one who was regular to call and request a song. James is not at peace and enjoying the best gospel music that Heaven has to offer. I send condolences to his wife Lenda, and all the relatives and friends.
