Jennifer and Kali, I am having masses said for your dad, and the Sanctuary Lamp on the altar will be lit for his birthday at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Albany. My parents loved you girls and your dad very much. Alexis was a special light in your dad's life. I hope my mom was waiting with a plate of spaghetti for your dad. Please, know that I am praying for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at the church across the street from Bob’s house in Baton Rouge. Within the first couple of months Bob brought by his card with his number on it because he didn’t like it that I was there alone sometimes, and wanted me to call if I ever needed anything. He was always grabbing packages if they came after hours at the church and just looking out for everyone on the street. You’d usually see “the girls” coming first as he walked them multiple times a day. My family and I are praying for your family during this time, and are thankful for the time we got to know Bob.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
