Larry Rex Rodery, 75 of Searcy passed away January 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Paul L. Rodery and Hazel E. Banks on March 28, 1942 in Piggott, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Larry Allen Rodery who passed in 2010.
He is survived by his daughter Laurie Mock (Greg) of Corning, Arkansas; four grandchildren Dalton Price, Corey Skaggs, Zowie Rodery, and Elijah Rodery; four sisters Beverly Reagan, Patricia Dickus, Sandra Hagy and Peggy Goodwin and one brother Thomas Rodery and host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Rodery was retired from the US Army; areas in which he served included a tour in Vietnam, helicopter door gunner, infantry and narcotics division. He liked driving fast cars and watching racing on TV. He loved animals especially his dog ''Rommel''.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 from 12-2 P.M., with Funeral Services following at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy, Arkansas.
Interment will be at White County Memorial Garden.

Laurie, I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
It's never good bye, it's always until we meet again. I love you. And im patiently awaiting the day we will be reunited in our father's house.

I had the great pleasure of meeting and getting to know Larry on our yearly trips to Arkansas with dad. Not only was he sweet but so darn funny. I was not able to come the last trip and missed seeing him. May his memory be a comfort to you all.
Lois and I were so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
