Herman Delaine Kidd, 78 was born to Herbert and Mildred Watson Kidd, on October 9, 1939 in Lafayette County, Mississippi and passed away on October 28, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas.

Mr. Kidd was retired from Speed Queen in Searcy after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, gardening, bingo and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Old Glaise Missionary Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his, parents, a daughter, Mary Ellen Huey, two brothers, Roger Kidd, and Stevie Kidd.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna Posey Kidd, three sons, Timothy Kidd of Virginia, David Kidd (Michelle), Michael Kidd (Kathryn) all of Bradford, nine grandchildren, Michael Kidd, Cody Kidd, Dawson Kidd, Cole Kidd, Mariah Carrico, Melissa Kelley, Megan Lagos, Colton Kidd, Willie Huey, three great-grandchildren, Susannah Kidd, Caroline Kidd, Anderson Kidd, two sisters, Mary Ellen Frazier, Elsie Marie Williams, seven brothers, Hubert Kidd, Robert Kidd, Jerry Lee Kidd, Ricky Kidd, James Kidd, Paul Kidd, John Kidd, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation Tuesday October 31, 2017 from 1 PM until Service time at 2 PM at Old Glaise Missionary Baptist Church, 213 Jackson Road 25 Bradford, Arkansas 72020.

Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
