April 14, 1920 - September 28, 2017

Bonnie L. Shaw, age 97, of Judsonia, Arkansas, left this world to be with the Lord on September 28, 2017. She was born on April 14, 1920 in White County Arkansas, daughter of Lindsey and Clinnie Bryant.

She was a resident of Oakdale Nursing Center in Judsonia for several years and enjoyed many friends and activities there. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. "Red" Shaw. Red and Bonnie had no children, but many nieces and nephews, whom they loved. They were well known to family and friends alike simply as "Aunt Bonnie" and "Uncle Red". Aunt Bonnie was a great cook, who especially enjoyed making pies for family gatherings. She was most famous for her chocolate meringue pie. She and Red enjoyed many trips and extended stays at Deer Run, where they camped and made many friends. Aunt Bonnie was a dog lover and pampered her faithful companion, Prissy, for many years. She also loved all her family's dogs and pets. She enjoyed a full and healthy life. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her beloved sisters, Anna Lorean "Mutt" Bryant King and Bertha Bryant Brown. She lived most of her life near her sister, Lorean "Mutt" King. She is also preceded in death by her nephew, Billy Dean King of Searcy, Arkansas, her great-niece, Pamela Kay King Weathers (Sonny) of Judsonia and her great-great-great nephew, Gregory Scott Weathers.

Aunt Bonnie is survived by her half-sister, Dorothy Bryant of Holly Springs, AR., and many nieces and nephews, including her great-niece, Dr. Jada King Vaughan (Gary Beck) of Orlando Fl; Great-great niece, La Dawn Weathers House; Great-great nephews, Joshua Dean Weathers (Natasha) and Chester K. "Chris" Weathers, all of Judsonia, and Brooks L. Vaughan (Jacquelyn) of Orlando, Fl. She has many fourth and fifth generation nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Funeral Service to be held at Roller Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy, Arkansas on October 4, 2017, at 9:00A.M.
