Barbara Ann Rice 88 of Kensett, Arkansas passed away April 30, 2017 at the Crossing in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born March 3, 1929 in Bald Knob, Arkansas.

She retired from Matthew's in 1991 after 25 years of dedicated service. She loved to paint and be with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Ethel Kilman , brother Bud Kilman, sister Judy Adcock; sons David and James Rice, and a daughter Janice Dunn.

She is survived by sisters Nadine Abbott and Llewellyn Delaney (Robert); grandchildren, Julie Meade (Jesse Whitney), Michael Lindsey (Dora) and Kristen Rice, six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Special thank you is extended to her dear friends Brenda and Linos Abbott, Foster Chapel family, the staff at the Crossing and Arkansas Hospice.

Funeral service will be at Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Searcy on May 5, 2017 at 10:00A.M. Visitation will be May 4 from 6:00-8:00 at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy.

Words can't express the respect and love we feel for Aunt Barb- her smile, her laugh and kindness has been shown to all of us- I will miss her forever- but will hold her memory in my heart- Hugs - to a special lady

Very few people are blessed to have somebody like Aunt Barbara in their lives. ALL of the Rice nieces & nephews loved her dearly! I will miss her for the rest of my life. Praying that god comfort her Grandchildren.
