Our sincere condolences to the family. My earliest memories of Reed and Sue go back to sometime in the mid fifties when they came to worship with us at Harmony. We were a small congregation, and were proud to have them with us. Reed loved to sing, and was a good song leader. What a great couple! As was he, she'll be missed by all who knew her. May God comfort the family at this time.

My heart and mind are flooded with many warm and precious memories of your sweet Mother. Food, love, and compassion were always hers to share. Her home was always open to provide comfort for so very many persons! When I think of her I shall always see her sweet eyes and sweet smile emitting the kindness that flowed from her so easily. It has, indeed, been a blessing to have known her. It is, indeed, a blessing to see these same virtues exhibited in her children and grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through each of you. Please know we are lifting you in prayer as you take the next steps in this life and honor the life that was lived by your Mother.

Debby and Danny, our most profound sympathy goes out to both of you in the loss of your Mother.. She was a sweet woman, I came to know Sue when I was about 20, working at the shoe factory.. She worked in a frenzy and that was what I noticed about her when I first knew her.. We would talk about all kinds of things in the break/restroom where we gathered and watched out the double windows, many times wishing ourselves out in the sunshine enjoying it... Sue was a sweet friend before I knew her well, I knew she loved the Lord... and along with being friends we were sisters in the Lord... I will always remember her smiling face... her straight forwardness and her dedication to God and family... Our prayers are with you and your family... Edith and Mike..
