Allen Brewer, 92, of Kensett, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. He was born May 24, 1924 in Damascus, Ar. to the late Enoch and Maggie Brewer.

He is preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years: Venola Brewer, and his step daughter, Addie Scruggs.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Victoria Williams Brewer, two sons: William H. Brewer (Helen) of Los Angeles, Ca. and Lee Pettis (Pamela) of Grand Praire, TX., One step son Charles Smith (Emily) of Searcy, Three step daughters: Tina Miller (Leonard) of Kensett, Louise North (Orell) of Searcy, and Rose Whitney (Robert) of Searcy, one sister Monteen Roberson of Kensett and many Grandchildren and great children.

Allen was a veteran of the United States Airforce serving during World War II and was a member of the Civil Defense Unit.

He was a longtime member of Centennial Baptist Church in Kensett where he served as Senior Deacon. Allen was very active in his membership and was a faithful member. He was always present at the church during any events that were held and he was always willing to help and serve the church.

Allen worked as a Trackman for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and retired after 35 years of service.

He loved to hunt and fish. On his 80th birthday he was able to go fishing and managed to bring in a big catch which he was very proud of.
Allen was a very kind, loving and gentle man. He was loved greatly by his family and friends. He was very active and well known in the community and his church. Allen will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Centennial Baptist Church in Kensett. Interment will follow at Crow Cemetery in Kensett.
