Shirley E. Pulley 87, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Edwards on August 23, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away in Monday, November 21, 2016 in Searcy, Arkansas.
Mrs. Pulley was a retired cook and loved collecting dolls. She also enjoyed going to thrift stores.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Robert Pulley, three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by a son, Elbert Risner of Glenn Flora, Wisconsin, a daughter, Karen Metzler of Lincoln, California, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Patti Pulley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sharon Stephens of Piper City, Illinois and friends.
A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 2 PM at White County Memorial Gardens.

I was Mrs. Pulley's caregiver until she went into the hospital the last time; we had made plans for the next 2 days I was to be with her (she was so excited). It breaks my heart, all the problems she had with some people, but at least now, she has no more worries, or pains. She will be missed.

I always liked Shirley, although I hadn't seen her in probably 10 yrs or so. I first met her when I was only 16 or 17, through her son. But I ran into her occasionally over the years, we had mutual friends. She and I could always find something to laugh about. I'll miss that smile, but I know she's really happy in Heaven. RIP
