Ruby Christine Crawford Johnson, of Judsonia, Arkansas, met her Savior face to face Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Oakdale Nursing Home, at the age of 99. She was born in Tupelo, Mississippi to Samuel & Elizabeth Crawford, June 17, 1916. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Kevin Johnson, one brother: LaVert Crawford, two sisters: Ida Johnson and Maggie Crawford Wall.
She is survived by twin sons: Jerry Johnson , his wife Patricia of Searcy, and Terry Johnson , his wife Sharon, of Jacksonville. Four grandsons: Jeff (Cherie) Johnson, of Sherwood, Jon (Holly), Jason (Amber), and Jeremy Johnson of Jacksonville, Ar. and one Granddaughter Katrina Mimms (Rod) of Jacksonville. Ten Great Grandchildren: Evan and Isaac Johnson, of Fayetteville; Rebecca and Matthew Johnson, of Sherwood; Jenna Johnson, Sarah and Lauren Shillcutt; Isabella Johnson, Caleb and Caden Mimms, of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews.
Ruby retired from International Shoe Company and was the oldest member of Searcy First Assembly of God Church. After retiring she sold Avon and worked as a cook at the Assemblies of God Campgrounds in Hot Springs. She was well known for her homemade yeast rolls and peanut butter cookies. She taught an Adult Women's Sunday School Class and sang in the sanctuary choir for over 50 years. She was very active in the Women's Ministries that included cooking, teaching, and quilting as well as ministering at the nursing home. Working crossword puzzles was one of her favorite hobbies, but most of all she loved to read and study her Bible. Her joy was playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was truly a blessing and inspiration to all who knew her.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 4-6 PM at Roller Daniel Funeral Home and Her ''Celebration of Life'' will be at Searcy First Assembly of God Church, Benton Street at 2 PM Monday, June 29, 2015. Interment following at Kensett Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: First Assembly of God Church (Women's Ministries).

My thoughts and prayers are with you . Sister Ruby is looking down and smiling. She will always have a special place in my heart. Growing up I knew it was church when you saw she and Sis Ida on the second row along with my Mom. Beautiful video tribute.for a Beautiful Lady.
