Wilma Geraldine (Jerri) Cohorn-Cooper, 90 was born to Piercie and Nettie Bomar in Romance, Arkansas on November 26, 1923 and passed away at Searcy Healthcare on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
She was a retired hair dresser, having owned several beauty salons in the Memphis area. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy.
She is preceded in death by first husband of 57 years, James H. Cohorn and her second husband of 4 years, Ray A. Cooper, two brothers, Buehl Bomar and Harold Bomar.
She is survived by her son, James R. Cohorn of Quitman, three nephews, Terry Bomar, Roger Bomar, Tim Bomar and many friends.
Jim, I can't tell you how much jerri meant to me, we were so close for so many years. After I got to know her, I felt God had sent me an angel for a friend. She will be remembered forever in my heart . I am so sorry for you, I know you are lost right now, but God will see you through your loss. love, Polly West
