Evelyn Lee Murphy, 78, of Bassett, AR passed away November 27, 2017. She was born September 9, 1939 to Dick and Dorothy Flowers. She was a member of Joiner First Baptist Church and a retired School Food Service Director at South Mississippi County School District. Survivors include her son: Chip (Kimberley) Murphy of Marion, AR; daughter: Carol A. (Lawanna Allensworth) Senter of Bassett, AR; grandchildren: Gary Skoff, Logan Skoff, Trinity Bennett, Bryan Bennett, Jr, Jimmie Lynn Whitehorn, Jo Evelyn Rowland; great grandchildren: Lauren Stracener, Levi Stracener, Whitlee Rowland, Bailey Bennett, Blake Bennett, Skyla Bennett, Emma Skoff, Alexander Skoff, Josie Ann Skoff; sisters: Elsie Dean of Mountain Home, AR and Joye Murphy of Bassett, AR; and brother: Charles Flowers of Little Rock, AR. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter ''Wesley'' Murphy, her parents, and sisters: Lois Dean and Deltha Grimm.

I am so sorry for the loss of Evelyn. She was a winderful, Christian lady. I looked up to, loved and respected her. She loved her kids and grandchildren so much. You were so blessed. Prayers and love to your family
