of Osceola, AR
May 9, 1963 - September 6, 2017
Bradford Young Billings, age 54, died at Blytheville Hospital on September 6 after a brief illness. Brad was preceded in death by his brother B. Welby Alexander Billings and is survived by his parents Karen Young Billings and Paul Barrett Billings, his brother Paul Barrett (Lee) Billings Jr., sister in law Laura Beth Calvert, nephews and nieces Paul Barrett (Stephanie), Billings III, Lane Torrence Billings, Sarah Caroline Billings, and Benjamin Lawrence Billings, as well as great nieces Emma and Ainsley Billings, a host of friends, and his close companion Melinda Gonzalez. Brad attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. To say he was an avid Razorback fan would be an understatement. If they were playing, he was watching. Brad had the gift of friend making and friend keeping and devoted lots of time to keeping up with family and friends, never missing a birthday, special occasion, or opportune moment to remind his loved ones he was thinking about them. His gifts of compassion and empathy allowed him to help and encourage people in need. Memorials may be made to: The Brandon Burlsworth Foundation 119 W. Central Avenue, Harrison, AR 72601.
We're so sorry to hear of Brad's passing. Please accept our condolences and know that we are praying for you and your family.
Sincerely,
The Burlsworth family
I was so very sorry to hear of Brad's passings. Many hugs and prayers of comfort going to the entire Billings family.
I cherish my time in college with Brad at the Sigma Chi house, so many walkouts, functions, Ski Lodge, Derby Day, parties in the courtyard, workdetails, walking across Old Main to the BA, Jerrys Here, Millie, JoJo, Beating Texas 42-11, . . . . the Fayetteville memories keep flooding my mind and Brad was always a part of my college life, for which I will always be grateful and keep close in my heart, smile wider and laugh deeper . . .
Miss you brother!

Always the boy with the smile at OHS. Prayers for your family.
To the Billings family - I am very saddened to hear of Brad's passing. I remember meeting him, along with his brothers, back in the mid 1960's when my father went to work at Osceola Foods. I'll remember Brad for his big heart, love of the Arkansas Razorbacks and his sense of humor. There are very few people that can make me laugh like Brad did. I spent the morning reminiscing on the many memories I have of Brad growing up. I even caught myself laughing out loud at times. Although it has been many years since we saw each other, we would always trade barbs on Facebook when my Ole Miss Rebels were playing his beloved Razorbacks. Brad was a true friend to many and will be missed by countless people who crossed his path at one time or another. May your faith in God help you get through this difficult time. My prayers and good thoughts will be with you.
