Gary Ellis Mitchell, 62, of Joiner, AR, passed away April 19, 2017. Born November 6, 1954 in Joiner, AR to John and Ruby Mitchell, he worked as a mechanic for Cahaba Disaster Recovery and DRC. He is survived by his wife: Tracy Mitchell of Joiner, AR; daughters: Brittany Mitchell and Lindsey Mitchell both of Joiner, AR; grandchildren: Kedric Brown, Kameron Brown and Kierah Brown; sister: Peggy Murphy of Whitton, AR. He is preceded in death by his Parents; brothers: Buddy Mitchell and Billy Mitchell.

Dear Family:
I am so very sorry that you have suffered this loss. It is hard to know just what to say when a loved one dies. Be assured that our Loving Ceator is aware of your loss and pain. Through His Son, Christ Jesus, he has arranged to bring back to life, "all those in the Memorial tombs." (John 5:28,29) God is Almighty. So just as He used his power to create us, He will use that same power through His Son, the Christ to bring back our dear loved ones who have died. (Acts 24:15) His purpose is for us to live forever on a cleansed earth, free from suffering and sickness and death. (Psalm 37:11; 1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:3,4) I hope that reading about and meditating on these reliable promises from Jehovah God will strengthen you and brighten your hope for the future.

To the Mitchell family and all the friends of Gary's . . . , my sincere condolences to you, as another (and the youngest) son of John & Ruby Mitchell has passed away.. Life has many blessings, but oh, so many sorrows, as well, and this is one of them. May God's Holy Spirit dwell in your soul, & give you peace, & hope, as you deal with this loss. Keep all the good memories close to your heart forever. I'm sorry to be so far away (in Arizona) and miss the service on Friday. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
