Carl Thomas Skaggs, 87, of Osceola, entered into rest Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born June 3, 1928 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to the late D. Everett and Cora Skaggs; he was a member of First Baptist Church in Luxora and retired from Southwire. He is survived by his wife Katherine Skaggs; daughter Shelia Skaggs Woods and husband David of Carlisle; one son Tom Skaggs of Osceola; three grandchildren: Jennifer Woods, Sara Woods Silverman and husband Andrew and Emily Woods; two great-grandchildren Parker Silverman and Jackson Silverman; three sisters: Beauton Haynes, Dolly Peterson and Winnie Burleson; two brothers: Bert Skaggs and Robert Skaggs. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Elaine Lepper and Jessie James; three brothers: James Skaggs, William Skaggs and J. C. Skaggs.
So Sorry to hear about the death of Carl. I know he was such a wonderful person that I worked with at the Shoe Factory. He was a hard worker. May God Bless you all during time and my prayers are with you.

It was a blessing to attend church with Mr. and Mrs. Skaggs. I truly consider them dear friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this trying time. May God provide strength, understanding, and comfort in knowing that Mr. Skaggs body and mind is now healed and he is standing with his Lord and Savior.
