Richard Dale Eatmon Sr., 78, of Osceola, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. He was born December 20, 1936 in Carson Lake to the late Sam A. and Louise Moss Eatmon. Richard owned and operated Eatmon Construction with his son. He was a member of Bethel Church of Lord Jesus Christ.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Charlene Trimm, Judy Garner and Wally Hicks.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Linda Eatmon; one son, Richard Eatmon Jr. (Denise) of Osceola; one granddaughter, Casey Ainsworth (Neal) of Osceola; one grandson, Jason Woodward of Jonesboro; two great grandchildren, Emily Eatmon and Cayden West; three brothers, Paul Eatmon (Patricia) of Edwardsburg, MI, Clay Eatmon (Wilma) of Tampa, FL and Sam Eatmon (Jenny) of Osceola; two sisters, Sandra Bricker of Marion and Sharon Walker (Johnny) of Osceola; and many nieces and nephews.
Chapel services will be 2 pm Thursday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mississippi County Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12 pm (Noon) until time of service.
Pallbearers will include Peter Hill, Jason Woodward, Neal Ainsworth, Stephen Douglass, Donnie Reams and Floyd Pettit.

So sorry for your loss my brother, we are never ready to give our loved ones up. You have watched him suffer for a long time, now he is pain free and in a better place! Glad for the time we all had July 4, So long Mr. Dale!

I'm very sorry for the loss of uncle Dale :( I haven't seen him since the small family reunion at Charlene ' s house in 2000. Sad how time flies and gets away from us. I know he will be greatly missed. I'll be praying for you Aunt Linda, Happy and the rest of the family. Sorry I cannot attend the funeral.....
