Edward ''Pud'' Rogers, 83, of Bassett, AR passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Born January 29, 1931in Bassett, he was a combat Army Veteran of the Korean War, retired from the St. Francis Levee District and a member of the Wardell Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Reba Rogers; one brother, Bobby Rogers; and two stepbrothers: Talmadge Rogers and Carl Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Rogers of Bassett; four daughters: Susan Aaron (Gary) of Bassett, Gerry Daniel of Dyess, Tammy Schwartz (Joey) of Bassett, and Tracy Mitchell (Gary) of Joiner; two sons: Eddie Rogers (Shirley) and Chris Rogers (Lorie) all of Bassett; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
