Frank Perkins, SR, 84 of Greers Ferry, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2014. He was born March 25, 1930 in Tibbs, TN to Joseph Winston and Lucy Briggs Perkins. Frank was a John Deere mechanic for 35 years. He was a member of the Nodena Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters: Linda Brown and Dorothy Johnson: one son: Frank Perkins, Jr.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Louise Hendrix Perkins; one daughter: Ann Dunkin; one brother: George E. Perkins.
