I remember Sammy. He worked as an auto body man in his teens. He was always thin and we called him Crain for a nickname. I'll never forget one Tuesday night Tommy wilky myself and a couple other boys, I don't remember the other two. We piled in Sammy'ssammys 55 chevy I think. We went to Blytheville to the wrestling matches. When the matches were over we went and got in Sammy's car. On the way back to osceola we had a flat and didn't have a spare. Sammy said the concrete will eat this tire up before we make it to osceola. So Sammy found a gravel and dirt road that went to osceola. He said we will go this way because the dirt road won't eat up the tire. He was right we made it, 15 mile an hour all the way but we made it. I was 5 yrs younger than Sammy, just a punk kid. But Sammy let me go with all the older boys. I thought that was special that he would let a little punk kid tag along. But Sammy was genuinely a good person. I never seen him mad and cussing. He loved everyone and was always laughing. God rest his soul. Rip big Brother.
