Lee Roy Sartin, 79, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on July 23, 2018 at his home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Lee Roy was born on August 21, 1938 in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Claud and Nola (Rose) Sartin. Lee Roy was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Mountain View Water Department. Lee Roy will be remembered as a man who loved to help others. He would do everything he could to help someone in need and that generosity and compassion continued throughout his life. Lee Roy will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Lee Roy is survived by his son Bobby Sartin and wife Melissa; daughter, Renae Sartin-Moreland and husband Al; two brothers, Carl and Junior Sartin and one sister Mary Lou Ketchem; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; and three step-children, Keith Foley, Kelly Foley and wife Jennifer, and Pam Morgan.
Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Nola (Rose) Sartin; his wife Lillian; son Dennis Sartin and one sister, Shirley Messick.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM with Brother Truman Bullard officiating. Interment will be at Fifty Six Cemetery in Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Al Moreland, Steven Whitney, Randy Sartin, Ricky Sartin, Terry Sartin, and Keith Powell. Honorary pallbearers are JD Stewart and Joe Kirby.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

My sincere condolences to the Sartin family. I worked with Lee Roy many years ago at the shirt factory where he was a mechanic for several years. He was always willing to do what was necessary and had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.

Words can't express how saddened we are to hear of your loss. leroy was a great person and friend i have worked with him always very helpful and loved to laugh and joke around he had deep convictions in what he believed and how he lived his life
