Evelyn Pogue Lawrence, 90 of Mountain View, Arkansas, ended her long battle with Parkinson's and went home to be with her Lord on July 2, 2018 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born on February 3, 1928 in the Gayler community, close to Mountain View to Marian Francis ''France'' and Mary Caldona ''Dona'' Jessen Pogue.

She was preceded in death by two infant brothers, an infant daughter Patrichia Ann Allen, her parents, her husband Duane Lawrence, a son-in-law Mike Keeler and her only sister Pearl Shreffler.

She grew up in Stone County, lived in California, Kansas City, Missouri and several places in Arkansas, but always returned to Mountain View. She loved people and she loved to talk. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking. She loved painting, writing poetry, crocheting, and making quilts. She was a charter member of Foothills Baptist Church. In the past she taught Sunday School, worked in Vacation Bible School, went on a mission trip and was active in fund raising for building projects for her church.

She is survived by three children; Vera Allen Byrd (Jerry) of Batesville, Mary McKnight Keeler of Bradford and Jody McKnight (Sondra) of Paducah, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and nephew Roger Henderson (Nancy) of Stockton, Missouri, and a host of friends, church family and family.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Foothills Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services begin at 10:00 AM following the visitation with Brother Donald Strait officiating. Interment will follow the service at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Bryan Keeler, Eric Keeler, Lawrence Proulx, Jr., Jerry Byrd, Jr., and Kameron Byrd.
