Johnny Wayne King, 68, of Marcella, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Southridge Village Nursing and Rehabilitation in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Johnny was born on October 3, 1949 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Rufus and Hester (Bangs) King. Johnny worked for 31 years as a heavy equipment operator for the Highway Department and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his 4-wheelers. Johnny was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joyce (Whitfield) King; one son, Bryan King and wife Stephanie of Marcella, Arkansas; two daughters, Crystal Hall and husband Galen of Marcella, Arkansas and Penny Price of Marcella, Arkansas; two step-sons, Dennis and Christopher Padelford; one brother, Chester King and wife Dorothy of Marcella, Arkansas; one sister, Betty Vickers and husband Don of Marcella, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dillon Williams, Brianna King, Matt Hall, Lucas Collins, and Jamie King; two great-grandchildren, Carter Padelford and Madalyn Simmons; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Hester (Bangs) King, and one nephew, James Vickers.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
