Maxine Arnold, 100, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Highland of Mountain View. Maxine was born on August 27, 1917 in Palisade, Nebraska to the late Frank and Elsie Florence (Morse) Weston. Maxine graduated from college and worked for most of her life as a registered nurse. Maxine was a charter member of Eagle Point Nazarene Church and loved reading the Bible. For several years Maxine would read the Bible in its entirety each year and she also loved doing crossword puzzles. Maxine was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all of her loving friends and family.

Maxine is survived by two sons, Donnie Arnold and wife Dottie of Mountain View, Arkansas and Michael R. Arnold and wife Rebecca of Roseville, California; one sister, Mable Butchino of Portland, Oregon; as well as four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elsie Florence (Mores) Weston; husband, George Winfred Arnold; daughter, Jolene Schmidt, and grandchild, Adam Neal Arnold.

Maxine will be inurned at the VA Cemetery in Eagle Point, Oregon next to her late husband, George Winfred Arnold.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
