Toby Ellis Nesbitt, 73, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at his home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Toby was born on December 12, 1943 in Ogden, Kansas to the late Dwain Edward and Audrey Horton (Markle) Nesbitt. Toby was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the National Guard. Toby was the owner and operator of Gigi Steel and Nesbitt Garage for over 37 years. Toby was also a lifetime member of the Stone County Saddle Club, IBEW Union, and also worked in construction on power lines as well as on the Alaskan Pipeline.
Toby is survived by his wife, Janet (Lancaster) Nesbitt of the home; one daughter, Tonya Robey; one granddaughter, Gigi Robey; nieces and nephews, Jesse LeMay and Tabatha Stanley; as well as many nieces and nephews from the Lancaster side of the family.
Toby was preceded in death by his son, Toby Nesbitt, Jr.; parents, Dwain and Audrey Nesbitt; sister, Sammye Nesbitt; brother, Dan Nesbitt, and nephew, Kip Pabst.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 1:00-2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00PM with Brother Dustin Long and Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Chris Crymes, Calem Stanley, Jesse LeMay, Jeff Nesbitt, Rusty Sims, and Russell Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Ray Crymes, Desmal Nesbitt, Bill Nesbitt, Harold Lancaster, Flynn Norman, Ken Roberts, Larry Burns, Tom Burns, Barry Storey, Chris McClung, Jim Nesbitt, and James Oden.

I am so sorry to hear of Toby's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
Janet and Tonya, Toby was a special person. He will be missed by a lot of us but especially by you.
