Jeannie Rodgers, 59, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at her home on Sunday, September 20, 2015. Jeannie was born on September 18, 1956 in Hammond, Indiana to Orville Odell Ransom and Jackie (Carter) Brooks. Jeannie was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Red Hatters, Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, Fourth of July Committee, Merchant's Committee, and Wild West Weekend Committee. Jeannie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Jeannie is survived by her mother, Jackie Brooks; husband, Bob Rodgers; four sons, Jim, John, Tom Rodgers, and Nathaniel Childers; two daughters, Beth Gammill and Jenniffer Moore; three brothers, Tony Ransom, Marty Ransom, and Johnny Ransom; 21 grandchildren and 1 ½ great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her one son, Justin Rodgers, and one daughter, Jenifer Rodgers.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 6-8PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2015, 2:00PM at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother John Rodgers officiating. Interment will take place at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Bob Rodgers, Nathaniel Childers, Jim Rodgers, John Rodgers, Tom Rodgers, and James Gammill. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Ransom, Marty Ransom, Johnny Ransom, Roger Swafford and Jerry Rodgers.

Bob, so sorry for your great loss. Jeannie was such a sweetheart and this was such a shock. We love you so very much and pray that God gives you strength during this painful time. Please know that we would like to be there with you but it's just so hard on Mom to ride that far. She sends her love and prayers as well. You are in our hearts and in our prayers. We love you and if you need to get away, our home is open to you for as long as you wish. I wish I could take away the pain, I love you so much. Just know that God will see you through. Sorry sorry to hear of Jeannie's passing. My condolences to her family-she loved you all so much. I enjoyed working with her in Searcy and treasured her friendship.
