Mountain View, Arkansas: Lillie M. Gayler, 85, of Mountain View died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mountain View Nursing Home.
Born December 3, 1928, in Stone County, she was the daughter of Eva Hedges and John Mitchell, Sr. She worked at Sunflower Army Ammunitions Plant in Kansas during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. She resided in Eudora, Kansas over 30 years before retiring in Mountain View with her husband Ira Jennings Gayler, now deceased. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two sons, Daniel (Donna) Gayler of Edwardsville, Illinois and Mitchell (Peggy) Gayler of Lawrence, Kansas; five grandchildren, Laura (Kyle) Seelbach, Brandon (Alison) Gayler, Kathryn Gayler, Christopher Gayler, Karlene (Joseph) McCracken, and four great-grandchildren, George, John, and Kate Seelbach and Klara McCracken; two sisters-in-law, Edith Mitchell of Fifty-Six, Naomi Gayler of Mountain View, brother-in-law, Carl Gayler of Mountain View and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings, her parents, brother and two sisters.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 1:00-2:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00PM with Rev. Lee Clark officiating. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Harold Mitchell, Johnny Mitchell, Ronnie Woody, Shawn Woody, David Adams, and Larry Lawrence. Honorary pallbearer is Carl Gayler.

I loved my aunt Lillie so much. She could light up a room when she walked in and loved her gospel music. She will be missed but is now enjoying a happy reunion in heaven with her friends and loved ones.
