Jerry (Pepper) Wayne Foster, 58 of Mountain View passed away September 27, 2014 at his home. He was born February 12, 1956 at Batesville, Arkansas to Thurman Thomas and Laura Leona (Talburt) Foster. He was a farmer, logger and sawmill owner. Pepper was a former volunteer firefighter, Justice of the Peace, and a member of Richwoods Baptist Church. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Cates) of the home; one son, Kyle Foster (Kim) of Mountain View, AR ; two daughters, Stephanie Younger (Jerry) of Mountain View, AR and Kayla Foster of Jonesboro, AR; two brothers, John Foster (Harlene) of Mountain View, AR, and Gary Foster (Debi) of Flippin, AR; seven sisters, Regina Wilson (Roy) of Murfreesboro, AR, Linda Farris of Dallas, TX, Joan Hankins of El-Cajon, CA, Jane Rahrovani (Soja) of Del Mar, CA, Ronda Leonard ( Leon) of Rogers, AR, Madeline Strutton of Timbo, AR, and Earline Hinkle; five grandchildren: Madison Younger, Reina Foster, Landon Foster, Reigan Foster, and Hadley Foster. Pepper is survived by many nieces and nephews and countless other loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will take place at 2 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Roller Crouch Chapel with Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment will be at Case Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Shawn Strutton, Jimmy Wayne Foster, Russell Foster, Jonathan Foster, Brent Williams, and David Habelitz. Honorary pallbearers are Tuffy Lake, Loy Ray (Hack) Clark, Leo Sutterfield, Carl Perry, Donald Sloan, Cooper Strutton, and Nathan Ramer.
Arrangements are by Roller Crouch Funeral Home.
I am going to miss my neighbor and friend. We visited often.

I was soo sorry to hear of Pepper's passing. I've known him my whole life and it never mattered where I saw him, he always took time to visit a minute. I always learned something new when I visited with him. He was a well respected man of our community who will be missed by many. All of you are in my prayers!

Thinking of your family during this time. Pepper had the best sense of humor. I remember him from my days working at Hilltop. He would always come in the store with the best attitude and funniest jokes. He will certainly be missed by many.

It wasn't long ago, I ran into Hilltop Market and Pepper was there at the breakfast table! He called me by name, didn't realize he knew my name even though we had visited regularly at my teller window. He was a fun one to talk to, always with his bibs on and one side fastened!! Just makes me smile thinking of him!! RIP sweet man!!!
