Edward Eugene Lawson, 62, of Fox, Arkansas passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born on January 12, 1955 in England, Arkansas to the late Edward Martin and Madge Lee (Dennis) Lawson. Edward was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked for most of his life driving a truck and farming. Edward will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Edward is survived by his wife, Willie Mae (Thompson) Lawson of the home; two daughters, Lisa Wallis and husband Donnie and Tabbatha Owens and husband Ryk; four sons, Wayne Smith, Thomas Smith, Gregg Thompson, and Jeff Thompson and wife Latisha; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; mother, Velma Roberts; three sisters, Helen Heird and husband Johnny, Helen Maxwell and husband, Jimmy, and Ethel Chrisp; five brothers, Bud Hurst, Gene Crook, Ray Roberts, Allen Roberts, and Richard Blair; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Martin and Madge Lee (Dennis) Lawson; one brother, Willis Ray Seaman, and one sister, Robin Lynn Blair.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Friday, November 24, 2017, at 2:00PM. Interment will take place at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Jackie Thompson, Gregg Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Gregory Thompson, Donnie Wallis, Jr. and Hadyn Isaac.

i miss you so much papa not a day pastes that i dont miss you you where the best papa i ever had i wish i can see u agian its been three years now papa and i have made it to the tenth grade i am makeing good grades i makeing a's and b' i love you so much your my best friend and papa i remmber you said i can see that smile and i used to smile i love you dearly and miss you dearly you have my heart i love u
