Grady Alexander Freeze passed away peacefully Friday November 17th 2017 at the Highlands Nursing and Rehab in Mountain View, Arkansas.
He celebrated his 103rd birthday, August 30th. Grady was born August 30th 1914 the fourth child to Elbert and Maggie Canard Freeze in the Cove Area, Mountain View, Arkansas. He was a member of the School Avenue Church of Christ.

He spent many years working in the timber, log woods, sawmills and drilling water wells for people. He loved to square dance, jig and waltz. He was a member of the Folklore Society for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Maggie Freeze; his wives, Neva Sutton Freeze, and Cora Cooper Freeze; one infant son, Harry Dewayne Freeze; one granddaughter, Judy McMurray Brock; one great- great granddaughter Krista Brock; son-in- law, Jimmy McMurray; three brothers, Hamp, Tom, and JB; two sisters, Opal and Euple.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Bonnie Freeze McMurray; granddaughter, Brigette McMurray Wilson and husband Danny; great grandchildren, Carolyn Brock Motes, Buddy John Brock II., Angela Wilson and Alex Wilson; great-great grandchildren Cara, Shawna, Natasha, Lane, Brock, Camille, and Zaine; great-great-great grandchildren, Paisley, Ara, and Brier; one brother, Ralph Freeze and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Monday November 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm with services following at 2:00 pm at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Finis Brewer officiating. Interment will be Norick Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mickey Freeze, Johnny Sutton, Roger Gardner, Lynn Smith, Rocky Sutton, and Billy Sutton. Honorary pallbearers are his nephews; Larry, Willard, Wayne, Jerry, and Jackie Freeze and Jeff Newman.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

He was such a sweet part of our lives at Mountain View Health and Rehab. He will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to family and friends. I will miss seeing him everyday.
