LaVivian Treat Stewart, 93, passed away June 20, 2017 at Indian Rock Village in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. LaVivian was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma. She had worked hard, became a nurse and worked harder. She was also a trusted and cherished friend. She made the job of nursing a fun one and never asked her co-workers to work any harder than she did. Above all, she was quick with a story, had a keen sense of humor, and a laugh that was heartfelt.
She is survived by two sons, Leroy Stewart and Rudy (Liz) Stewart all of Fox; daughter, Mary Kathryn Gearhart of Fox and Patsy Stewart of Mountain View; One brother Lecil (Margert) Treat of Shirley, AR; Sisters, Lucille (Earl) Miller of Fox and Patrica Louise (Carter) Conrad of Tacoma, WA; Grandchildren, Wayne Stewart, Vickie Jorgenson, Kevin Stewart, Stuart Gearhart all of Fox; Darlene Hopper, Daphne Goodwin of Mountain View; Nicole Dutton of Batesville, AR; Jeff Stewart of Vancleave, MS; James Gearhart of Greenbriar ,AR; great grand children, Shawna Jorgenson, Tyler Jorgenson, Samuel Hopper, Savannah Sartin, Sahara Goodwin, Kaiden Goodwin, Kara Goodwin, Carter Dutton, Emery Dutton, Justin Stewart, Dakota Stewart, Jorja Stewart, Abbie Gearhart, Dylan Gearhart, Makenzie Gearhart, William Gearhart, and Katherine Gearhart; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Stewart; her parents, Ervin and Nora Treat; one brother Huey Treat; son-in-law, Patrick L. Gearhart; and a great-grandson Cody Stewart.
Funeral Services were held Friday June 23, 2017 at 2PM at the School Avenue Church of Christ with Brother Darrell Treat officiating. Interment was at Alco Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Kevin Stewart, Samuel Hopper, Stuart Gearhart, Wayne Stewart, Jim Treat, and Chris Treat. Honorary Pallbearers were 2nd Lt. James W. Gearhart, Leroy Stewart, Rudy Stewart, Doug Stewart, Jeff Stewart, Tyler Jorgenson, Jesse Treat, and Fox Church of Christ.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home was in charge of the service.

We are holding the family deep in our prayers. Praying for comfort and closure for each of you. I only wish I could have been there with you during this time. I know that she is with Woodrow now and is no longer in pain. For this I'm grateful. Bless each of you.

I am so sorry to hear about LaVivian. I still remember how she and Grace would let us girls have a hamburger and/or ice cream when we snuck out of study hall to "help" them in the kitchen. I could always trust that if I needed advice or permission for something I could ask either of them and their decision would be fine with my parents. I'm sorry for your loss, I know you'll miss her.
