Cleo Erby

of Fifty Six, AR

October 21, 1926 - March 17, 2017

Cleo Erby, age 90, departed this life for her glorious home in heaven on March 17, 2017. She was born October 21, 1926. Her parents were George Henry McDaniel and Dora E. (Rainbolt) McDaniel.

Cleo was a loving mother to her children, a gardener, homemaker and wife to her beloved husband George. George and Cleo were married for 53 years and raised six children.

Cleo was an avid quilter and loved to sew. She created beautiful quilts which she joyously shared with family and friends. Cleo enjoyed all of her family get togethers, road trips, and visits from family, friends, and neighbors. She had a very generous heart and shared her love and caring spirit with all who were blessed to be in her presence.

Cleo is survived by her children, Georgia Sutterfield, of Mountain Home, Rita Patrick and husband Larry of Mountain View, Gail Jason and husband Bill of Fifty-Six, Lendal Erby and wife Tammy of Viola, Sandy Solomon and husband Robert of Fifty-Six, and Earl Erby and wife Lea of Pineville; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one grandson, five brothers and three sisters.

The family extends a very special thank you to all of the staff of the Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care and love shown to Ms. Cleo.

Dear family
We did not know Cleo for very long, but it didn't take long to know that she was a very sweet and precious woman of God, we will miss her so much on our visits to the nursing home.
