of Fox, AR
February 2, 1980 - June 30, 2016
Neal Eugene Branscum loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved everything outdoors: hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers , building bonfires, and hanging out with his friends. He enjoyed playing basketball and music, spending time with his friends and family, and overall, he loved to make people laugh. On June 30, 2016 Neal passed away at the young age of 36.
Neal was born February 2, 1980 in Mtn. View, Arkansas to Scott Eugene Branscum and Patty Ann (Gilbert) Branscum. Neal attended and graduated from Rural Special High School in Fox where he was known to be an amazing athlete. During a basketball game he couldn't resist a dunk on an opponent if the opportunity presented itself. After graduation Neal traveled the country working as a lineman for Arkansas Electric. During this time he had the opportunity to meet a lot of people and made numerous friends that touched his life in many ways. Neal was a Christian and had a big heart. He was always quick to lend a helping hand, and he never met a stranger.
Neal is survived by his mother and father, Patty and Scott Branscum of Fox; his sister and brother-in-law Angela and Anthony Campagna currently residing in Poland, a niece, Bella Campagna also residing in Poland; his grandparents, Red and Dosha Gilbert of Mtn. View; his grandmother, Marilyn Crews of Houston, Texas, and many other close family and friends.
Once you were a friend of Neal's, you were friends for life. Neal will be greatly missed by many.
