Nola Faye Ginn, 80 of Shirley, Arkansas passed away May 12, 2016 in Mountain View, Arkansas. Nola was born September 1, 1935 to Earnest Marcus and Mary Ellen (Garrett) Blackwell in Brownfield, Texas. Nola was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Nola is survived by her son, Olen Ginn and wife Donna of Shirley; two brothers, J.C. (Charley) Blackwell, G.B. (Pete) Blackwell; three sisters, Mary Sutterfield, Pauline Battaglear, Brenda Holden; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
Nola was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Marcus and Mary Ellen (Garrett) Blackwell; husband Oswald Ollen Ginn; one son Chalon Ardell Ginn: one grandson, Roger Freeman, two brothers Johnny (June) and Butch Blackwell; three sisters Ellen Rodgers, Nellie Spencer, and Susie Blackwell.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Roller Coffman Chapel. Graveside service will be 2 P.M. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Sugar Hill Cemetery with Brother Randy Long officiating.
Pallbearers are Richard Ginn, Bradley Ginn, Matthew Studer, Jody Baldridge, Dr. John Dawson Irvin, and Justin Harloff. Honorary pallbearers are Charley Blackwell, Pete Blackwell, Jeremy Keithley, and Vernon Brewer.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
