Arvin McMahan, 75 of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2016. Arvin was born in Stone County on March 13, 1941 to Revo (Stewart) McMahan and Henry McMahan.

It goes without saying that if you are reading this then your life was touched by Arvin's kindness. He was always the first to offer help and never shied away from hard work. If you were around him for any amount of time you heard him say, ''Let the rough side drag.'' He lived his life in this way; finding joy in the simple things family, friends, and some good ole' picking and grinning.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shellis (Clark) McMahan, his four children; Dana Kroeck, Earlean Brewer, Linda Franks, and Bud McMahan; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Arvin also leaves behind two brothers, Ervin McMahan and Junior McMahan both of Mountain View, Arkansas; two sisters, Bonita Holmes of Springdale, Arkansas, and Wanda Newman of Ida, Arkansas.

Arvin was preceded in death by both of his parents, his three sisters Josephine Clark, Loretta, Richardson, Mary Ellen Clark, and his two grandsons Timothy Younger and River McMahan.

Memorial Services will be held with visitation Wednesday March 30,2016 from 6:00- 8:00p.m. at Roller Coffman Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Roller Coffman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Jones Bottom Cemetery off of the Guion Road immediately following the service.

It is going to be hard for all his loved ones, but he would say to us all ''Hang tough''.

Pallbearers are Thomas Logging and Sawmill Crew.
Honorary Pallbearers are his Nephews.
