Was very saddened when I read the obituaries this week. Gayler was a good friend and employer. Our prayers are with the family, for I know Gayler is in good hands with his Lord and Savior.

We regret being unable to attend the funeral. Jan was obligated to work and I was ill. We were late in learning of Gayler's passing. We have a great respect for his Faithful Service to his Church, and knowing your children and watching them grow up told us there were good things going on in the home. Dorothy, you and Gayler have done a great job in raising your kids and leaving them the most important thing, a Godly heritage. He will be missed and we want to encourage you. I have never heard a negative word spoken about Gayler That is a great legacy.

Gaylor and Dorthy together we're like one special friend we came to love as a part of our lives after we moved to Stone County in 1987. It is friendship that will last as we trod this earth and then move on to heaven. We pray for God' s comfort for Gayler's family and friends left behind.

Jim & I still think of Gayler everytime we ride in the pasture in a pickup truck. In the summertime, we roll down the windows and turn the air conditioner on and say, "I love to ride with the windows down, but I want to be cool." Our 4 kids know exactly what we mean when we say we're going to ride "Gayler style" in the truck! Man, I'm gonna miss him. Great guy!

I have very many fond childhood memories of Gayler and how as a cousin 10 years my senior he always went out of his way to entertain me whenever I came back here to visit. My deepest heartfelt sorrow goes out to Dorothy, Joey, Greg and families. Gayler was so full of life and so willing to share that with everyone. I practically worshiped him in my youth and will miss him sorely. I do find some comfort that he is resting in peace and someday we will all be together again.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dorothy, boys, and family and pray for God's mercy and comfort. Gayler was a special cousin who always had a way of making others feel welcome and special with a winning smile and personality. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We can take comfort that he is now at peace with no worries or pain. May the wonderful memories of Gayler sustain us until we meet again.

Oh how we mourn at death of such good friends and Brothers in Christ. We should not mourn for he is in a place we long to be also........We do miss loved ones like Gayler and we do pray for the comfort of God upon the family and friends. We wish we could suffer some of you pains right now but if we can do anything let us know. Just know there are many friends and loved ones praying for all of you.

In memory of one of the dearest cousins a person could ask for. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, all around loved by relatives and friend to all who knew him. He was a prankster as well as a friend in need. He was a leader of men who showed his work ethics and his daily life as a Christian man. When you were with him, you felt special and now we will always hold a special place in our heart for such a dear man we lost but God is rejoicing in his presence.. with deepest, heartfelt love you are missed, but never forgotten, see you again in heaven.
